Gerry joined Wanner Associates in early 2024 and currently serves as Executive Director at the Pennsylvania School Bus Association, a role that he has held since 2023. In this capacity, he represents over 300 school transportation contractors and industry partners to ensure premier safety in transporting school children and to enhance the quality of student transportation services. Through educational initiatives, advocacy efforts, and collaborative endeavors, Gerry aspires for PSBA to emerge as the foremost authority advocating for safe and responsible school student transportation.
Bringing a wealth of experience in campaign management and intergovernmental relations, Gerry’s professional journey includes various roles within member associations. In his most recent position as Senior Director at a national campaign consulting and public affairs firm, he consulted on various political campaigns and offered political analysis to financial institutions. Additionally, Gerry has previously served as Executive Director of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania, starting from an entry-level position within the organization. In these roles, he played an integral part in developing strategic plans, crafting budgets, and working closely with member committees.
Gerry has cultivated significant relationships throughout Pennsylvania and collaborated with elected officials at varying governmental levels, establishing a robust network across the Commonwealth.
Outside of work, Gerry resides in Cumberland County where he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Kara, their dog Jacob, and cheering for Philadelphia sports teams.
