Alyssa is an accomplished communications and association management professional with more than a decade of experience in strategic communications, membership relations, event coordination, and association accounting. She currently serves as Association Accountant and Project Manager at Wanner Associates in Harrisburg, PA.
She holds a Bachelor of Humanities in Communications from Penn State University and has been recognized with the Pennsylvania Beer Alliance’s Public Affairs Award, along with a nomination for City & State PA’s Above and Beyond Women’s Award.
Previously, Alyssa was Communications Director for the Pennsylvania Beer Alliance, the nonprofit trade association representing Pennsylvania’s beer wholesalers. In that role, she led public relations campaigns that strengthened member engagement, expanded public outreach, and elevated the association’s visibility. She also oversaw key operational areas including accounting, budgeting, and administration, coordinated statewide membership meetings, fostered industry partnerships, and represented the organization at national conferences.
With expertise spanning social media strategy, public relations, graphic design, association administration, and financial management, Alyssa is recognized for crafting impactful messaging and building meaningful community connections. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring creative outlets such as art, dance, and music, attending concerts, hiking, traveling, staying active, and spending time with family and friends
