MATHCOUNTS is a national competition that engages middle schoolers in career building fun. Wanner Associates manages the MATHCOUNTS program in Pennsylvania on behalf of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, which culminates in a statewide competition in Harrisburg each March.
MATHCOUNTS is a national enrichment, coaching and competition program that promotes middle school mathematics achievement through grassroots involvement in every U.S. state and territory since 1983. The competitions have challenged sixth, seventh and eighth grade students from public, private and religious schools in the state and is designed to unleash students’ passion for mathematics and many move on to careers in important fields such as accounting, business, engineering, mathematics, science, teaching and technology.
